Welcome to term 2
This term in Wrens, our topics are Winter and Christmas! We will be looking at different celebrations, such as Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas and other celebrations during this time of year! We are looking forward to all the exciting learning this term!
To help all children manage transition, we ask that you say goodbye at the door. We will help support the children settle into their morning activities.
Reading and Phonics
Phonics will be taught daily. Should you have any questions on how to support your children with this then please come and see me. Books will be changed on a Monday and Thursday. Labels
Please label... EVERYTHING, no matter how big or small, this is a huge help when finding the rightful owner!
Shoes
Please ensure that your child is wearing school shoes and that these have velcro as the children have not quite mastered laces yet! Please ensure your child has a coat everyday.
Wellies can be left in school (unless you need them on the weekend of course).
PE
PE will take place on a Monday and Thursday. Children are to come in changed for PE and will wear their PE kit for the duration of the day.
SHOW AND TELL
This will be on a Friday. Only 1 toy/special item is to be brought in.
Please wait for the gates to be opened by a member of staff at the end of the day. Due to health and safety, please ensure that children do not use the equipment both in the EYFS gardens and Courtyard.
