Resources for week commencing Monday 11th January:
Hey Robins!
Let me start by wishing you all a very happy new year and I hope you are all keeping well. Mrs Morris and I are missing you all very much and can’t wait until we are all back in the classroom.
Every week I will be uploading home learning activities which will be near enough exactly the same as what we are doing at school. This week I will also be sending out this term’s homework grid. Please keep me updated with your work by emailing me pictures and please ask for help if you are struggling. I Hope you have fun and enjoy them and remember do what you can, when you can.
Announcements:
Reading books/ Exercise books: To help the children keep up with their reading I will happily supply reading books from school. If you are interested in this, can you please email me and I will then supply three reading books and leave them at the office. I can do this weekly (every Monday), so the children have a range of books to read throughout the week. Furthermore, I am also happy to supply blank exercise books (English, maths and handwriting book), for your children to work in/ stick their sheets into, if you would like these let me know and I will leave them at the office for you.
Zoom meetings: As I have mentioned before, please email me with any worries or struggles. However, I am also going to hold a class zoom meeting every Wednesday at 1.30- 2.10. This is a chance for children to talk to me about any concerns, show me some of their work and catch up with their friends. If you would like to join this meeting please email me and I will send you the details. Furthermore, if you would like a 1 to 1 zoom meeting at any time, please email me and we can get one set up.
Story time: Over the next few weeks, I will be reading a story once a week on the Ash, Cartwright and Kelsey Facebook group through Facebook live. Day and time TBC.
