Resources for week commencing Monday 8th February:

Dear Falcons,

I hope you enjoyed our special week last week - it was great seeing many of you on our Zoom catch up express yourself with your outfits. I hope you had a relaxing weekend and managed to enjoy some special time with your family.
I cant believe it is the final week of the term and an end to our exciting topic of the Ancient Egyptians (it is certainly one of my favourites!). Everyone has worked very hard and I know that it hasn't always been easy but I have been so proud of the work I have been sent and the children working with enthusiasm in school. Hopefully we will all be together again soon!

The Leaderboards for our online platforms at the end of last week are as follows:

Prodigy Maths:
Gold: Alissia
Silver: Dylan
Bronze: Emily

*PLEASE NOTE* Our class code has been reset and changed for some reason. If prompted that there is a new teacher, click on update and type in the new class code: 4439145

Times Table Rock Stars KS2 Battle:
In our class, the top 3 players were:
1st: Alissia
2nd: Kadi
3rd: Kieron

Spelling Frame:
1st: Chloe P
2nd: Finley L
3rd: Jade M

Accelerated Reader:
Well done to Emily and Finley who have reached their points target for this term. Kian and Kadi, you are nearly there. Keep taking those quizzes to get points towards your target!
If you haven't got your log in details, please send me an email and I will get them to you.

All the work for this week is below.  You will be able to put all your English learning from the last few weeks into a special newspaper report all about Tutankhamun's tomb discovery, which I am so looking forward to reading at the end of the week. Send me your work here:  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. As always, if you have any difficulties or need anything, please just give me an email.

I look forward to our Zoom session on Friday where we will celebrate learning, have our catch up and our fun quiz (don't forget your pen and paper!) - same time and same link for logging in. If I don't see you on Friday then I hope you have a super break next week in half term - keep up with the reading and online games to keep your brain active, but most importantly enjoy time with your families.

Take care and stay safe everyone,

Miss Brown
