Resources for this week beginning Monday 29th June:

Dear Owls,

How are you all this week? I hope you enjoyed choosing your favourite British bird and creating a poster about it. How are you getting on with all of the maths work? Remember, if you need help with anything, you can always send me an email to ask. The weather is turning warmer too, as we are now officially in summer! Have you been spending lots of time outside? I know I have been trying to go outside as much as I can!

This week in Maths we will be learning about right angles, angles and parallel and perpendicular lines. In English, you are going to be writing a diary entry from the point of view of your favourite Amphibian, and in topic you will be continuing with your 3D maps and also you can use the sheet (or create your own grid) to design your own island. You could even do this activity in the garden! See below in the topic area for more ideas. In Science we will continue to learn about plants. I wonder if you’re helping with any gardening at home? I have been snacking on some tasty peas that I grew in a pot on my balcony!

As always, I love to see your work and find out about what you’re doing: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Have a wonderful week everybody, I miss you and I hope you are well!

From Miss Marlow
