Resources for this week beginning Monday 15th June:

Dear Owls,

I hope you’re all getting on OK. I have really enjoyed planning lots of activities for you to get to know the wildlife in our local area and beyond. If you have any other ideas of things you’d like to do, please let me know and I can include your ideas in our planning!
Did you get a chance to look at the Wildlife Trust who are running a ‘30 Days of Wild’ Challenge? Here’s a reminder of the website: https://action.wildlifetrusts.org/page/57739/petition/1

This week, our focus is... Fish! This week your English challenge is to write a news report. You get to imagine that you are a newsreader who interviews someone who has discovered a new fish.
Hopefully you’ve collected lots of materials and you’ve begun building your 3D maps too, I’d love to see some photos of what you have made so far.

I highly recommend you check out this amazing resource created by Earthwatch with Wild Days. You can sign up for free to access a weeks worth of activities all about our natural world. This week’s is about the Ocean so fits in with our Fish focus perfectly! You jut need to register with your email address and you can access lots of different activities totally free! Let me know if you check it out, I’d love to know what you think.
