Hello there Year 2!

I hope you are all doing okay and had a lovely Christmas holiday - did you receive any nice presents? It's crazy to think it's 2021 already, how time flies!

Mrs Johnson and I are very sad that we now won't get to see you all for a few weeks, but we hope that some of these activities will keep your brains whirring! Today is our WOW 'Pirate Day' so I've attached some 'piratey' themed activities, which I really hope you'll enjoy. Try your hand at speaking like a pirate (see the Pirate School ppt) or making your own 'Pirate Wanted Poster' (see the examples for inspiration)!

Once you’ve completed these you’ll see I've also attached a couple of Maths sheets to recap your understanding of the four operations (+, -, x and ÷​) and some English work on distinguishing between fiction and non-fiction texts.

Later this week I'll provide a grid of home-learning activities for next week.
